Folder Structure
SD Card Root (FAT32)/ ├── GLOBAL.CFG (autoload bank file) ├── BANK0 MyFirstSet/ (BANK + number, optional label) │ ├── WAV/ │ │ ├── 1_LOOP.wav (leading number sets loop order) │ │ └── 2_LOOP.wav │ ├── SETTINGS.CFG (written by module on save) │ └── DELETED/ (module's deleted-loops folder) ├── BANK1NiceOne/ └── ... (up to 99 banks)
Notes
- Loops can be added from a computer or recorded in real time with the looper engine
- Bank folders are named BANK plus a number, with an optional label after (BANK0 MyFirstSet)
- Loop WAVs go in a WAV/ subfolder inside each bank: up to 99 loops, whole bank folder under 60 MB
- A leading number in the filename (1_LOOP.wav) sets the loop-select order; unnumbered files are auto-renamed by the module
- The .CFG files and DELETED/ folder are created by the module when saving; manually created banks only need BANK#/WAV/
- WAV files with extra header metadata may fail to load; strip to minimal headers first (SampleStack does this automatically on conversion)
- Firmware updates loaded via SD card by placing firmware file in root

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I load my own samples onto the ADDAC112?
Yes. Despite being a looper at heart, the ADDAC112 loads loops you place on the SD card from a computer. Create a folder named BANK followed by a number (like BANK1), add a WAV/ subfolder inside it, and put your WAV files there. Up to 99 loops per bank, with the whole bank folder under 60 MB.
What audio format does the ADDAC112 accept?
8 or 16-bit WAV, mono or stereo, at 8, 11.025, 16, 22.05, 36, 44.1, 48, or 96 kHz. The module's default recording format is 44.1 kHz / 16-bit stereo. Files with extra metadata chunks in the WAV header may fail to load, so strip headers to the minimum before copying.
How does loop ordering work on the ADDAC112?
The number at the start of each filename sets the order loops appear under the LOOP SELECT knob: 1_KICK.wav, 2_SNARE.wav, and so on. Files without a leading number get renamed and numbered automatically by the module. Renumbering files on a computer changes the selection order.
Can I prepare ADDAC112 banks on a Mac?
Yes. SampleStack includes an ADDAC112 profile that creates the BANK/WAV folder structure, converts audio to the module's native 44.1 kHz / 16-bit format with clean minimal headers, applies the numeric filename ordering, and validates the 99-loop bank limits.
