Frequently Asked Questions
What sample format does the Lúbadh prefer?
The Lúbadh records internally at 96 kHz / 24-bit stereo, so reels prepared in that format load without any on-module conversion. It accepts other sample rates and bit depths, but matching the native format gives the most predictable vari-speed behavior. SampleStack's Lúbadh profile converts to 96 kHz / 24-bit stereo automatically.
How are reels organized on the Lúbadh USB drive?
Up to 12 folders at the root of the USB drive, each holding up to 12 reels (WAV files). Reels are sorted alphabetically within each folder, and an optional PresetLoader.txt at the root selects which presets load.
Can I prepare Lúbadh reels on a Mac?
Yes. SampleStack includes a Lúbadh profile that validates the folder/reel limits, converts audio to the native 96 kHz / 24-bit stereo format, and creates the 12-folder USB structure for you.
