Thank you for using SampleStack. By using the application, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Account Terms

SampleStack does not require an account. The app is downloaded and purchased through the Apple App Store, and your relationship with Apple is governed by Apple's own terms and conditions.

Payment and Subscriptions

SampleStack is available as a free download with a 7-day free trial. After the trial, continued use requires one of the following:

  • Annual subscription: $19.99/year, billed annually through the Apple App Store
  • Lifetime purchase: $49.99 one-time payment through the Apple App Store

Subscription Details

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

All billing and refunds are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

Analytics and Privacy

SampleStack collects minimal, anonymous usage data via TelemetryDeck to help us improve the app. This data cannot identify you and does not include any of your files or personal information. If you have opted in to Apple's analytics sharing, Apple may also share aggregated app analytics and crash data with us. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

What You Own

Your audio samples, libraries, metadata, and all content you manage with SampleStack belong to you. We claim no ownership or rights over your files. SampleStack processes your files locally on your device and never uploads them anywhere.

What We Own

SampleStack, its design, code, and documentation are the intellectual property of SampleStack. You may not redistribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the application.

Permitted Use

You may use SampleStack for any lawful purpose — personal, educational, or commercial music production. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any audio samples you manage with the application.

Reliability and Availability

SampleStack runs locally on your Mac and does not depend on external servers for core functionality. We do our best to ship stable, reliable software, but we cannot guarantee the app will be error-free or uninterrupted. We recommend maintaining your own backups of important audio files.

Limitation of Liability

SampleStack is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. In no event shall the developers of SampleStack be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from the use of the application, including but not limited to data loss or corruption of audio files.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any damages shall not exceed the amount you paid for the application in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will note the updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of SampleStack after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
