TAL-Sampler

SampleStack supported

Togu Audio Line

An analog-modeled sampler that imports SFZ mappings and samples up to four layers.

TAL-Sampler is a sampler with the character of a vintage hardware instrument: self-oscillating filters, a modulation matrix, and analog-style pitch drift. It includes an SFZ import that reads the mapping and sample paths, so a SampleStack instrument can be loaded and then run through its analog-flavored engine.

TAL-Sampler runs on macOS, Windows, and Linux as a paid plugin.

File format and compatibility

Export your instrument as SFZ from SampleStack, then use TAL-Sampler's SFZ import to load the mapping and samples. TAL-Sampler imports up to four layers, so keep heavy velocity stacks in mind when you build the instrument. SampleStack can thin layers on export if you need to fit that limit. The SFZ export page covers the details.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does TAL-Sampler import SFZ?

Yes. TAL-Sampler has an SFZ import that reads the mapping and sample paths, and loads mappings and samples up to four layers.

How many layers does TAL-Sampler support from SFZ?

Up to four layers. If your SampleStack instrument has more velocity layers than that, use SampleStack's export thinning to reduce it before importing.

What platforms does TAL-Sampler run on?

macOS, Windows, and Linux, as a paid plugin from Togu Audio Line.
