Preparing samples for the Play
The 2hp Play is a tiny mono sample player: 16-bit WAV, with 44.1 kHz recommended, placed in the root of the SD card with no subfolders. It loads the first 32 files alphabetically at power-on, so prefixes decide which samples make the cut and in what order.
There is no hot-swapping; the card is read once when the module boots, so finalize the files before you power up. SampleStack converts to 16-bit mono, orders the files with prefixes, and keeps the set within the 32-sample window the Play loads.
