Preparing samples for the Bitbox Micro

The Bitbox Micro shares its sample engine and card layout with the Bitbox mk2, so the rules are the same: WAV at 16, 24, or 32-bit, any common rate with 48 kHz preferred, mono or stereo, streamed from a microSD card with no mandatory naming. What changes is the panel, not the file handling.

Because the architecture is shared, a card built for one plays on the other. In SampleStack you use the Bitbox mk2 collection type for the Micro as well: it validates against the same specs, converts what needs converting, and lays out per-pad folders ready to drop onto the card.

SampleStack validates and converts your samples to what the Bitbox Micro expects and lays them out on the microSD card ready to load into presets.
