Preparing samples for the Bitbox mk2

The Bitbox mk2 is relaxed about format and strict about almost nothing else. It plays WAV at 16, 24, or 32-bit and any common sample rate, mono or stereo, and streams straight from the microSD card, so a file's size matters more than its length. There is no required naming convention: presets reference samples by path, so files can sit anywhere on the card.

Two things are worth getting right before you copy a card. First, 48 kHz plays back with the least conversion, so resample a mixed-rate library if you want consistency. Second, to play a pad chromatically, put its samples in their own folder and load the whole folder as a multi-sample pad.
