The Veno-Orbit is a dual-channel polyphonic sampler and looper from Venus Instruments, built for live capture and hands-on manipulation of both audio and control voltage. Each of its two channels is an independent varispeed looper with four crossfadeable layers, so you can build a sound up in passes and morph between them as it plays.
Because its inputs are DC-coupled, it records and plays back control voltage as readily as audio, which means you can loop modulation, envelopes, and pitch sequences alongside recorded sound. Loaded samples can be mapped across a keyboard over MIDI for polyphonic playback, with CV inputs for start, length, and pitch and gates for play, record, and reverse.

Notes
- Samples live in eight bank folders named by colour, in capitals: RED, GREEN, BLUE, WHITE, CYAN, ORANGE, YELLOW, and PINK.
- Files must be PCM WAV, 16-bit, 48 kHz, mono or stereo.
- File names follow COLOUR_SLOT<preset>_<channel><layer>: preset is 0 to 7 (the LED position in the bank), channel is L, R, or LR for stereo, and layer is the layer number within that channel.
- Example: BLUE_SLOT0_L0.wav loads into the BLUE bank's first preset, left channel, first layer.
Preparing samples for the Veno-Orbit
